Hi folks, 

As a video editor FW connections are essential to my working practice, it seems a shame that the MacBook now has no firewire support - but i guess it is more of a pro feature and i wonder actually how many macbook users use it? the only serious disadvantage would be no target disc mode, i wonder if it will be supported in some other way in the future? be interesting to see the set up screen for the primary user account on the new MacBook and see what options you get to transfer information from another Mac?

Also when the Macbook Pro was first launched it didn't have fw800, that was quickly rectified with the first revision, i wonder if apple will back peddle on these MacBooks too in a similar manner?

Still a 15" MBP is very tempting right now.
